The BDX-S500U from Sony is an external Blu-Ray drive that really pushes the limits of the USB 2.0 technology it’s saddled with. It can shred through single layer BD-R discs at up to 6X and dual layer discs only slow it down a little. (They suffer a mere 4X burn speed.) Console gaming controllers haven’t evolved all that much since the original Xbox hit the market years ago. They follow a pretty standard design (two triggers, two bumpers, 4-8 face buttons) and most don’t really push any boundaries.
