So the Motorola Flipout falls into the not-so-smart phone category but somehow manages to keep its cool.  The sleek, futuristic design sets it apart from the run-of-the-mill touch screens and the square footprint gives it a quirky edge that geeks and girls are just going to love.  It’s only 2.8” square–and all of that’s screen—so you won’t have anything trouble toting it around.  To top it off, the Flipout flips out with the two clamshells swiveling on a single pivot point at the bottom.  Quirky design aside, the phone is worth the money, but only just.
