Patriot introduces new Inferno Solid State Hard Drive (SSDs)
17 May 2010 - By Omar Mariño

The Californian memory maker is updating the Inferno line of solid state drives by releasing two new products with storage capacities of 100GB and 200GB. However, regrettably this launch is not the beginning of a reduction in the price of these data storing devices; in fact, to get one of the new SSDs the user will have to pay $369 (for a 100GB SSD) or $679 (for a 200GB SSD). The reason for these numbers are the current memories prices (very expensive). And, if you have had to update or increase the memory of your gadgets recently, then maybe you are very aware of this situation (including Flash and SDRAM memories, too).
