Remember your Commodore 64? (If you didn’t have one, your friends did.) Well now you can relive those glory days when home computing was young and the internet (as it exists today)was just a pipe dream. Commodore is launching a brand new PC that’s housed in a mock 64 body. That’s right, you can get all of the modern conveniences you need in a PC in a completely Retro case. How cool is that?
Inside you’ll find an Intel Atom processor with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a 1TB hard drive. That’s pretty good for starters but it gets better. The PC64 also boasts an HDMI out and your choice of optical drive (DVD, Blu-Ray, or even CD for those who want to kick it old skool.)
Of course, you’ll never know it to look at it from the outside. Commodore is promising that the case is an exact replica. All the beige plastic your eyes can handle. Now all you have to worry about is redecorating your office to complete that retro 80’s feel. Can I suggest a Madonna poster or perhaps some Wham on vinyl?
You can get yours (hopefully) by the end of this year—so get in line now.
