Project Natal: It was the most surprising gadget in the past edition of E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009). And although it looks like a very futuristic project, it will be released this year. Project Natal eliminates the need of a physical controller when playing. Instead, there is a camera that seems a webcam; that camera is used to register the motion of the player, so… the only controller is the player itself. (More information).

Apple Tablet: Apparently, this gadget will be a sort of Macbook with touch capabilities that will look like an iPod Touch (or iPhone) with bigger dimensions. Anyway, it is still a mystery. And according to some rumors, Microsoft is also preparing its own version.

Multi-core processors (in netbooks and smartphones!): Some researchers and market intelligence firms (such as In-Stat) affirm that, thanks to the miniaturization process, we will see some netbooks and smartphones that will come with multi-core processors in 2010. This way, those gadgets will be able to reach a greater processing speed and better performance.
