Small Video Cameras – Lain Sinclair Poco Pro Camcorder is Really Small

If you have an outrageous desire to own the thinnest of everything, then you have to get your hands on this Poco Pro camcorder from Ian Sinclair.  It’s billed as the thinnest 1080 HD camcorder and with dimensions such as 54 x 85.6 x 5 mm I’d believe it.

However, with its small case, you have to bet that the image sensor is downright tiny.  While it technically be 1080 HD, there are probably other models on the market that will take better high definition video.

Still, this little shooter will retail for just about $150 when it hits the states in June of 2011 so it may just turn out to be a viable contender for those who don’t want to drop cash on a Flip HD.

In addition to the full HD sensor, the Poco Pro sports WiFi but there’s no word yet as to what that WiFi will be used for.  My guess would be transferring files with ease but when the full specs hit the net, I also wouldn’t be surprised to see this thing supporting instant web uploading to YouTube and the like.

It may take  a while to get used to the “sandwhich-camera” style design rather than a pistol of even palm design you’d find in another camcorder but with the simplicity of the button design (check out the picture) the Poco Pro looks like it will be dead simple to use.
