So you’ve got your fancy new Apple Keyboard and that’s so thin you’re not even sure if there’s electronics in there or if it’s just fairy magic that makes it work. Notice anything missing? How about a number pad? I don’t really know what Apple was thinking when they released this thing into the wild without one but that’s another story all together. There have been several third party attempts at creating an add-on that brings back the functionality that gamers and productivity hounds can’t live without but none have cut the mustard. LMP is hoping that their device will take off and make them some money and from the looks of it they may just be onto something.
This new number pad, unlike previous imitators, actually attaches directly to the Apple Keyboard making a sort of Frankenkeyboard—it’s alive! This bypasses the need for any sort of cabling and negates Bluetooth’s distance versus connectivity shortcomings. Plus, this thing is styled just like the Apple device so it won’t stick out like a sore thumb.

The LMP Bluetooth number pad has just breezed through the FCC so it will be a while before they hit production—but not too long. Save up your pennies though because if the price of the Apple Keyboard alone is any indication, this peripheral may just be a little pricey.
