Children are a very interesting market segment for electronic makers. If you have doubts about this, just search for “Hello Kitty gadgets” in a search engine and you’ll see. Using popular TV series and cartoon movies as a commercial opportunity to release products targeted to children (and their parents, of course) is an usual thing. Today, we show you some gadgets inspired by a “star” of the American TV network “Cartoon Network”: Ben 10. It is a fictional character that, thanks to a strange device on his wrist, is able to transform itself into ten different alien superheroes. Ingo Devices has glimpsed a good business chance and prepared a complete range of gadgets for Ben 10 fans.
* Ben 10 MP3 players
Nice players for young music lovers. Ingo Devices has designed two MP3 players inspired by Ben 10. The first one is a clip-shaped MP3 player that comes without any display. It has 2GB of capacity and is able to play MP3 and WMA files. This player uses a lithium battery and is compatible with Windows 98 SE or ME, Windows 2000, XP and Vista. It measures approximately 2.6″ x 0.9″ x 0.3″ (64mm x 22mm x 8mm) and weighs 15 grs.
The another player (the Ben MP3) is, in fact, a Ben-10-shaped gadget and maybe some people would think it is a keyring. Although it also comes without any display, an important difference is that there are two versions: a 2GB player and a 4GB player. It also can read MP3 and WMA files and is compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Vista. It measures approximately 2.0″ x 1.7″ x 0.6″ (52mm x 44mm x 13mm) and weighs 25 grs.
* MP4 1.8″ Ben 10
The MP4 player is more targeted to preteens. Of course, its features are more advanced than the MP3 players features. It has a 1.8-inch LCD screen and a lithium battery with a battery life of up to 6 hours in audio mode and up to 3 hours in video playing mode. Other features include an internal 2GB memory, a radio receiver and four games. It supports MP3, WMA, AMV, JPG and BMP formats.
* Digital cameras
For those kids who enjoy taking pictures, Ingo Devices has created two digital cameras. The first one is a 3.1-megapixel camera that is very appropriate for the beginners. The another one is a 5.1-megapixel camera for the more “advanced” users.
