Just by pressing a button, users can select among the different pictures taken by the camera, crop or edit them and, in less than 60 seconds, print full-color, 2-by-3-inch photos. All with a single device.

The Polaroid PoGo Instant Digital Camera is the second product in Polaroid’s PoGo family of products. The first one was the PoGo Instant Mobile Printer that was launched in July 2008. The Polaroid PoGo Instant Digital Camera also uses ZINK paper and ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology. In this technology, ink cartridges or tapes are replaced with ZINK paper, which is a compound material with heat sensitive dye crystals. Before printing, the ZINK paper looks like a regular photo paper, but when the photos are printed, they are immediately dry and resistant to touch, blots and water.
The Polaroid PoGo Instant Digital Camera offers all the functions of a digital camera with 100 percent inkless printing, 2-by-3-inch photos with or without borders and the advantage of checking the captured images on a 3-inch color LCD screen before printing. The instant digital camera measures 4.7 inches wide by 3 inches tall and weighs 10 ounces.
The Polaroid PoGo Digital Instant Camera will be available in USA in March 2009. Its price will be $199. On the other hand, you can buy 10 packs of ZINK Photo Paper for $4.99 (retail) and 30 packs for $12.99. This paper can be used in the Digital Instant Camera or the Instant Mobile Printer. Prices for United Kingdom have not been announced yet.

For many, Polaroid equals to instant photo. The Polaroid PoGo should be another addition to their instant camera’s line of production.
