Whether you grew up loving Disney’s Tron or not doesn’t really matter. These excellent Tron-themed peripherals from Razer will get your inner techie all giddy.
Coinciding with the reboot of the Tron franchise (Tron: Legacy hits theaters this summer with the return of Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn) peripheral manufacturer Razer has launched a new line of theme peripherals complete with glowing blue lights and customizable options that will keep you gaming for hours.
Up first is the keyboard and mouse combo. Retailing at $130, the keyboard features a swappable number pad and will allow for programmable macros. The laser etched surface casts a retro-futuristic glow, “Tron” font on the keys, and sports the “Tron” logo. You can buy it separate but bundle it with the mouse for the ultimate gaming (or hacking) set up. Retail on the mouse is rumored to be $100 bucks but it does tout a 56000DPI laser.
But Razer wasn’t content with just giving PC users something to gloat about. They’ll be offering Xbox 360, Playstation, and Wii controllers in the fall. That will come in handy when Tron Evolution hit’s shelves in December. Though the Playstation and Xbox controllers are wired, you may not notice when you get zapped by the ENCOM Digitizing Molecular Laser.
