Sony Ericsson mobile C902: the commercial 007 phone

The latest James Bond’s mobile is NOT a special iPhone edition that Apple released for the famous secret agent and neither is a sophisticated Nokia touch-screen phone with advanced technology and exclusive design.


Sony Ericsson C902: the commercial 007 mobile

This time, Sony Ericsson did a part of the work “Q” used to do. The company provided the latest mobile for James Bond in the movie “Quantum Of Solance”. In this occasion, the most famous agent on Her Majesty’s Secret Service has a not-so-exclusive phone. Instead, he now uses a commercial and affordable phone.

The new Bond’s gadget has an internal 160MB memory you can expand by adding Memory Stick Micro cards. The phone also has HSDPA network support, a 2-inch screen with a resolution of 240×320 pixels and a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and video capabilities. This phone is made of aluminum, which is a very strong material and, for that reason, it is heavy despite its size.

Among its features, the most outstanding thing is the 5 megapixel camera. Also, the phone includes a face detection system that is useful for focusing in a better way, although it doesn’t work very well with poor visibility. Anyway, the C902 has a good photo flash for those conditions. Other features include: picture blogging, media player, 3D games, FM radio, USB support, sound recorder, video call and Bluetooth stereo.

The Sony Ericsson was James Bond’s phone! The C902 with 5mp camera had been the best before the 8 megapixel monsters started taking up the market. It looks sleek and stylish, especially the silver and black lines on the edges. It’s said it has poor video recording capabilities, is that true?

Actually, we think the video recording is really good. And you can find some reviews on Internet that said the same thing. :)
