New HTC Phone – Freestyle Available in February from AT&T

HTC’s new Freestyle model will hit your local AT&T store shelves on February 13th of 2011.  The phone runs on Qualcomm’s Brew MP operating system (rather than Android or Windows) and comes with an integrated HTML browser—which is nice when compared to other phones and their limited web capacities.

While it’s not exactly new technology I’m talking about today, it is noteworthy news that might very well change the way you do business.  You see, the largest complaint against mobile Apple products is their exclusivity to the AT&T wireless network (usually with a nasty little contract involved.)  It was announced a while back that next year the iPhone will be coming to Verizon, giving users an alternative to the hated AT&T with their favorite iDevice.  Now, it has been announced that the iPad will actually make the switch before the iPhone. e-Books Reader: Barnes & Noble Nook is Better than the Kindle

At 8” by 5” the nook is smaller but slightly heavier and generally feels more sturdy than Amazon’s pioneering eBook reader yet it’s interface is much more user friendly.  In addition, the color touch screen controls on the bottom give the device a very iPhoney feel though the E Ink display still remains the same.  It’s not a bad snag but there are a few issues that keep the machine from being a top pick.
