Okay, so the title is just a corny pun but the real story behind the launch of Nikon’s new Coolpix S9100 is the zoom lens.  It can reach out and touch someone with the 18x zoom and still capture 12.1 megapixels with the click of a button.  With that type of range you’d expect a fairly hefty chassis on this point-and-shoot camera but the body isn’t much larger than any of the other Nikon Coolpix cameras.
