FujiFilm Finepix Real 3D W3 Is a Great Bargain

Though I’m not quite convinced that 3D is the wave of the future that everybody seems to think it is, even I have to admit that some of the gadgetry these companies are pumping out to milk the 3D cow is pretty impressive. One example is the FujiFilm Finepix 3D W3. The new model is based off FujiFilm’s previous attempt at creating a pocket-sized portable 3D camera capable of taking snapshots whenever you wanted it to. That previous attempt was a little less than perfect but FujiFilm seems to have listened to the critiques and come back with a much better product the second time around. Read more >>
Fujifilm’s Waterproof FinePix XP10 Isn’t the Best but May Be Better than the Rest

FujiFilm’s launched a new 12MP digital camera that’s waterproof. I know the words waterproof and camera mean crappy picture quality (at least when considering camera in a price range that won’t scare the pants off an average consumer) but this little beast is a performer. It’s not the best camera out there but it’s probably the best waterproof camera you’re going to get for under (read just barely) $200. Read more >>
Fujifilm Digital Camera: REAL 3D W1 is a Beast, but a Capable One

The Fujifilm 3d W1 is big and bulky and weighs about twice as much as your average digital point and shoot because it’s basically two cameras crammed into one. So that’s not exactly how the 3D process works, but it’s close. The camera has two 10 megapixel sensors that capture two slightly different images and when that image is played back and the viewer is wearing the correct type of 3D glasses—blammo! 3D!
