tPhone Turns Your iPod Touch Into a Real Phone—Sorta

For those of you wondering why Apple didn’t just slap some cell phone circuitry into the iPod touch before they released it—it does everything else already—tPhone is here to save your day.  Essentially it’s a big, bulky case for your iPod that has the circuitry you need built in.
The 1,200mAH battery slips discreetly into the honking big hard case which makes the iPod 50% bigger than the Apple Peel (its main competitor)—but that’s  okay because iPods are pretty thin.

You’ll have a SIM slot (necessary for the phone part of the works) and dock port (necessary for charging, syncing, and pretty much everything else.  However, the folks behind this dastardly design have also thoughtfully included a USB port—something Apple didn’t feel the need to do!

These are available from overseas markets but will work just fine in the States if you get your own SIM installed properly.  If you want a bootleg iPhone, it’s going to cost you roughly $100, but isn’t that a price worth paying?

Of course, your friends might spot your Phoney iPhone from a mile away but feel free to laugh at them when you tell them you paid a lot less for it.
