Want a 3D Capable Network BluRay Player for $400? LG’s BX580 Is Right Up Your Alley

The LG BX580 is one of the cheapest, most capable BluRay players on the market (well almost) and may yet topple Sony’s Playstation 3 from its crown as the BluRay player with the most bang for your buck.

No, the LG machine won’t play video games but it does just about everything else.  Amazing considering LG seemingly came out of nowhere and took over the top spot in consumer electronics from giants like Sony, GE, and their ilk with it’s semi-affordable, extremely capable machines.  Now they’ve set their sites on BluRay.

The new BX450—though not on the market just yet—supports HDMI 1.4 compatibility, DLNA, 1080p, and 3D.  That’s right, this machine will play 3D BluRay movies–whenever they get around to saturating the market.

Not only that but it’s fully loaded with integrated WiFi (something every reviewer of new BluRay devices gripes about the lack of) and NetCast Entertainments Access so you can stream content directly from the web to your TV with this little gem.

But you haven’t heard the best part yet.  It’s only $399!  That makes it one of the most affordable higher-end players available.  No longer will you have to hand over hard-earned cash for a mediocre player and be disappointed with the results.

You can’t order one yet, but you can stop off at Amazon and drool over the specs a little.
