A video consoles generation is released and it is full of extra features to attract more users. To this respect, Microsoft has released, since yesterday, a service named Experience. All users of the traditional Xbox Live can upgrade immediately to the new dashboard Experience when connecting their console. And it is a free service.

This new dashboard or interfaz is now available for both paid and free content. And a feature that catches the attention of people is the ability to download high-definition movies to the hard disk. And, among the movies that it offers, “No country for old men” is one choice.

Interaction between users is also reinforced. They will be able to use some options like chats or “photo parties” to share digital images in groups of up to eight people. Also, in the virtual environment, players can use new three-dimensional avatars created by themselves, which are very similar to the Wii avatars but with a superior resolution. The games can now be loaded completely from the hard disk, avoiding noise. And those games include the new Xbox 360 titles that are also trying  to get more customers, besides video games fans. “Karaoke Lips”, “Scene It? Box Office Smash” or the charades-like acting game “You’re in the Movies” are some examples.

The other consoles will make similar moves before Christmas. Play Station prepares a service named Home, which is a modern environment similar to Second Life. On the other hand, Nintendo will launch Wii Speak: a microphone to chat.
